The Short-term Student (English Language) Visa is for students coming to the UK to study on an English Language course, lasting between 6 to 11 months.


Unlike the standard Student Visa, an applicant for the Short-term Student Visa is not required to possess a Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies (CAS), nor does the applicant need to meet a strict maintenance level, though some amount of savings still needs to be evidenced.
